Man arrested in connection with Edinburgh mosque fire
A 28-year-old man has been arrested.
A man has been arrested in connection with a fire attack at an Edinburgh mosque.
Edinburgh Central Mosque, in the Potterrow area, suffered minor fire damage to the door and the garden after an object was thrown at the building at about 2.10am last Sunday.
Police Scotland are treating the fire-raising as a hate crime.
A force spokesman said a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
