Man arrested and charged for series of thefts in Aberdeen

A man has been arrested and charged after a series of break-ins and thefts in Aberdeen.

The 37 year old is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on today, after the incidents between December 26 and December 31 2023.

Commercial premises in the city were targeted, in the Rousay Drive and Greenfern Road areas.

West End Community Policing Team Constable Scott Coutts said: “We appreciate the impact theft has on the local community and we will continue to tackle these crimes.

"I would like to thank business owners and members of the local community for their co-operation and assistance during our investigation.

"If anyone has concerns regarding criminality in their area, please contact us by calling 101 or speak to any police officer."
