Man arrested after ambulance stolen in Aberdeenshire
The man was eventually stopped 40 miles from where he first took the vehicle.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stolen ambulance.
At 6:20am this morning, whilst attending a call in Kemnay, Aberdeenshire, the Ambulance was stolen from outside the address where the paramedics were providing assistance.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said:
"Following a pursuit by officers, the vehicle was stopped near Dufftown. A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing."
The Scottish Ambulance service has described the theft as a "deplorable act."
