Police have released details of a man they want to trace

A man's allegedly been robbed in broad daylight in Aberdeen City Centre.

The 48 year old was waiting at the bus stop on Holburn Street near Iceland.

The incident happened at around 1:35pm on Monday, 13th March.

Detective Constable Scott Williams said: "This is a despicable theft from a vulnerable man as he waited to catch a bus. A relatively small amount of money was stolen and the man was not injured however he has been extremely upset by the incident.

"Police are looking to trace a man in connection with the incident who engaged the man in conversation at the bus stop. He is described as white, mid 30's, slim build, 5'9", short brown hair and clean shaven. He spoke with a local accent and was wearing dark trousers.

"We are appealing to anyone who may have seen this or seen a man matching the above description in the area at the time to contact police on 101."
