The Scottish Government have announced a local lockdown in Aberdeen due to a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases.

It means there is now a five mile travel ban - except for work or educational purposes - on residents in Aberdeen City and people are being advised not to travel into the city.

Reacting the morning after, Jeff and Lauren spoke to Aberdeen news expert, Joe Odber to answer some of the questions spiraling social media.

For now - the plan is still for schools to open as planned next Wednesday.

That's also the day the First Minister will tell us if the Aberdeen lockdown is going to be continued for another week - extended to cover parts of Aberdeenshire - or lifted.

It all depends on whether these restrictions can stop the spread of COVID19 in the North East.
