The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre brand is expanding, with the addition of Inchmarlo Golf Resort, on the outskirts of Banchory.

As of 1st May, it will come under the control of the former Open champ's Golf Centre group. Lawrie's team, responsible for the successful upgrade and improvement of the original facility at Ardoe into one of Scotland’s top ranges, will begin a similar process at the Inchmarlo site.

It will include the recently reconstructed and remodelled 9 hole Queen’s course and the 22 bay driving range, as well as a re-vamped shop and will be complemented by expert coaches and staff to help golfers take their games to the next level.

Director of Golf Craig Dempster's been speaking to Northsound Sports Editor Dave Galloway.

Dave also asked Craig about when the Ardoe course, severly damaged by January's floods, would fully reopen.
