Tommy Sheppard will unveil his plans for the SNP, when he launches his bid to become its deputy leader today.
He joins the party's Westminster leader Angus Robertson, Inverclyde Councillor Chris McEleny and MEP Alyn Smith among the candidates to replace Stuart Hosie.
The deadline for entries closed yesterday and the winner will be announced at the party's conference in October.
