Light festival 'SPECTRA' launched last night, lighting up Aberdeen city centre.
Light festival 'SPECTRA' launched last night, lighting up Aberdeen city centre.
The event features 20 light installations across the city centre, from world-renowned artists, who have never shown their work in Scotland before. It's part of the 2016 Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design.
The pieces are in Union Terrace Gardens, St Nicholas Kirk and at Marischal College.
One of the main attractions, is 'The Pool', which features light pads which people can jump on and change colour.
Union Terrace Gardens has been illuminated by the event.
