LISTEN: The Science Behind Legal Highs

All this week, we've been learning about legal highs and how they affect Aberdeen.

DA, an Aberdeen Drigs Support Service told us that they have seen the number of Aberdonians coming to them for help over the misuse of legal highs soar, with them treating 50 people a month.

A consultant at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary also exclusively told us that A&E sees atleast one Aberdonian a day come through the doors for medical help after taking legal highs.

So we wanted to find out what is actually inside these controversial drugs, that killed 113 Scots in 2013.

So our reporter Hope Webb sat down with Pharmacologist Steve Tucker from Aberdeen Univeristy.
