LISTEN: Organisers Of Peterhead Bonfire Insist It Is Safe
The organisers of Scotland's biggest bonfire, in Peterhead tonight, insist the event is safe - after the Fire Service spoke out against it.
The bonfire itself consists of thousands of wooden pallets, at a total height of around 45 feet tall - making it the biggest in Scotland.
Thousands are expected to attend.

Our reporter Hope Webb spoke to one of the organisers Simon Gemmell, who insists that they have full safety measures in place to make it a fun and safe event.
