North East newly-weds are demanding answers from a local wedding firm - after more complaints about refunds.

Northsound News revealed last month that Drummond Events was being investigated by trading standards after claims about work not being completed.

Bosses posted a Facebook message saying they'd get back to everyone in a week, however the post is no longer on the firms page.

Four weeks later, many couples are still waiting to hear back.

Kyle O'Neill is getting married later this year. He paid a deposit to the firm but was promised his money back after asking for a refund.

He's yet to be contacted - and claims he's not alone.

More newly-weds have made their case on social media, with many confused and angry about the situation they find themselves in.

"I feel sorry for anybody who has paid in full" - Kyle O'Neill

Charlotte Stewart posted: "Did anyone else get the letter/email from Drummond events? I emailed for a quote last year but didn't proceed with booking yet he has sent it to me! Yet people with actual bookings have received nothing!"

Monica Jane Christie said: "Haven't heard a peep back from him being a customer- also notice he's deleted that post about 'not closing the business' with all the comments under it!"

We've approached the firm again for comment.
