Mary Portas, 'The Queen of the High Streets' as she is known, has shared her fears for Aberdeen's Union Street.

The retail expert was in the Granite city for Northsound's Business Dinner, when she got the oppurtunity to explore and speak to some of the locals.

The celebrity is known for her popular TV show 'Mary Queen Of Shops' - where she helped struggling independent shops by offering retail and business advice.

But after visiting Aberdeen, she took to Twitter to share her thoughts on Union Street, saying that she believed it had been left in disrepair, while focus was on the building of the new Marischal Square.

She is well known for her dislike in shopping centres - as they take away from High Street trade.

So our reporter Hope Webb grabbed a chat with Mary, to ask her about her thoughts.
