LISTEN - Head Of Aberdeenshire Education And Learning Defends Closing Dyslexia Units

The Head of Education and Learning for Aberdeenshire Council has defended their decision to close two dyslexia units.

Parents had battled to keep the schools at Kellands and Crimmond open, but at a meeting yesterday, councillors voted to close them for good, and send the children back to mainstream school in september.

A petition the parents created managed to gather 1,000 signatures.
