LISTEN: BP £670m Investment Can Extend The Life Of The North Sea

Published 5th Aug 2015

The Regional Director of BP says the company's £670m investment in the North Sea will extent the life of ageing North Sea assets.

The oil giant announced the investment today, with the hopes it will secure the future of its Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP) fields until at least 2030.

It's a light of hope in an industry that is currently suffering from the dramatic fall in price of oil.

Our reporter Hope Webb sat down with BP's Regional Director Trevor Garlick to dicuss the investment and the impact it will have on the North Sea.
