Hope Webb investigates the aftermath of the fatal stabbing of Aberdeen schoolboy Bailey Gwynne.

Published 27th Oct 2016

One year one from the fatal stabbing of Bailey Gwynne in Aberdeen, we are investigating what is being done to prevent a similar tragedy from happening again in one of Scotland's schools.

The 16-year-old was killed by a fellow pupil during a fight at Cults Academy on October 28, 2015.

The pupil that caused his death, who can't be named for legal reasons, had carried a knife in his school blazer for up to a year before the attack. He was jailed for nine years after being found guilty of culpable homicide.

A recent report into Bailey's death said it was "avoidable".

Our reporter Hope Webb has been investigating the steps that have been taken in response to the tragedy and the action that still is needed.
