The over 65s' event gets underway across the city on Thursday.
If you're over 65, you're being urged join hundreds of others who're signed up to take part in Aberdeen's Golden Games.
The 2016 festival's set to be the biggest yet, with 7 days of sporting and physical activities starting on Thursday at venues across the city. One of those who've registered, Sylvia Woods, says the event's gone from strength to strength since it started up 5 years ago.
She's been speaking to Northsound Sports Editor Dave Galloway.
