140 miles.

48 hours

3 and a half miles an hour.

Kyle Hewitt, from Northfield, is a big Aberdeen FC fan and has completed the trek to Hampden (yes, you read right!) just in time for the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic.

Kyle started his journey to Hampden on Thursday from Pittodrie at 11am and after having to break into a jog, made it just in time for the party at The Shed at 11am.

He is raising funds to share between the Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) and the Red Army Displays fund.

We spoke to Kyle right before he started the journey on Jeff and Lauren in the morning and he told us all about the big event and his score prediction.

Kyle's prep ahead of the big journey to national stadium;

THE DAY THAT THE JOURNEY BEG**AN**

"I've been eating lots of calories!"

We caught up with Kyle and he told us how ready he is for the walk.

Okay, so his wife has made sure his tummy is full.

Sounds like he had a little trouble with his bag though...

This was Kyle's route;

We spoke to him as he arrived at Stonehaven.

He's had to get his wife to pick up his bag and carry it for him just for a few miles...

The great support network really helped Kyle spur on!

More than a quarter of the way there and Kyle said his feet were hurting A LOT.

No such luck for Kyle as he asked a horse/donkey for a ride;

We were starting to get a little worried about him after that as we hadn't heard from him since 1pm.

This was at 9pm.

Four in the morning and the poor fella has to mask his nose from his own stink!

And then THIS happened

He did it!

We also managed to bump into him... he was a little hobbly though

We phoned Kyle to offer him a gesture for all of his hard work.

If you would still like to support Kyle and help him raise as much funds as he can, there is still time to donate. You can do that right here.

A huge round of applause and a well done to Kyle. What a guy!
