In the lead up to World Down's Syndrome day on the 21st of March, 21 Kaefer operatives are taking on a challenge to raise money for Down's Syndrome Scotland.

The St Fergus based employees will either cycle, run or walk at least 2.1 miles a day for an hour for 21 days.

They aim to raise £50,000.

One of them, Billy Gauld, told Northsound:

"On Saturday 20th March at 11am the team will then kick off a relay race, where each participant will have a 1 hour slot throughout the day / night to complete their chosen exercise method, finishing at 8am Sunday 21st March - World Down Syndrome Day."

"I understand these are challenging times, but every little helps."
