Jewellery worth thousands stolen in West End of Aberdeen

A car and jewellery worth thousands of pounds have been stolen following break-ins to homes in the West End of Aberdeen.

A property at Cranford Road was targeted overnight between Friday, 27 April and Saturday, 28 April, with jewellery valued at a low four-figure sum and a low three-figure sum of cash stolen.

A property on North Deeside Road was targeted yesterday, Sunday, 29 April, with a black Audi S3 (SV10ZDU) and a quantity of jewellery stolen.

Officers have also appealed for witnesses following a sneak-in theft and an attempted housebreaking at Broomhill Road in Aberdeen between Friday, 27 April and Sunday, 29 April.

Detective Constable Graham Robertson said: “We are appealing to anyone who has any information in relation to these crimes to contact police on 101. Housebreaking and the loss of personal possessions is extremely upsetting for individuals concerned, not to mention the inconvenience.

“We would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the areas where these crimes happened over the weekend to contact us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous."
