Investigation launched into Aberdeen care home deaths
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal say they are looking into 11 fatalities.
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) say they have launched an investigation into 11 deaths at Rubislaw Park Care Home in Aberdeen.
A spokesperson said:
“The Procurator Fiscal has received reports in connection with the deaths of eleven people at Rubislaw Park Care Home, Aberdeen."
“The investigation into the deaths is ongoing and the families will continue to be kept updated in relation to any significant developments."
A dedicated Covid-19 deaths investigation team has been set up by COPFS, it is also looking into 27 deaths between two other North East facilities.
