An investigation is underway following the death of a man working on a north sea drilling rig.

Lee Hulse died in the early hours of Friday on the Valaris 1-2-1 platform, 150 miles off the Aberdeen coast. It's reported the 32-year-old had fallen from a crane.

Police say the death's not being treated as suspicious. They're investigating what happened, alongside the Health and Safety Executive.

A Go Fund Me page set up in Lee's name has already raised over £14,000. Organiser Lynne Robertson says it's to ensure he get's the best send off he deserves and for his daughter to be well looked after.

Lee played for a number of teams in his home community Torry - Golden Tee FC say he was an absolute legend and was always there to celebrate the highs and to take in the lows.
