NHS Grampian say there has been a "small but steady" increase in Covid cases around the Inverurie area of Aberdeenshire.

"This is for if you live, work or spend time in and around Inverurie, Kintore, Kemnay, in fact anywhere in the Garioch area" a post on the health board's Twitter said.

"We all want to nip this in the bud now" they continued.

A mobile testing unit is being made available at Gordon House in the town.

It comes as most of the country drops down to Level 2 Covid restrictions.

Glasgow and Moray have been held back in the easing due to elevated case numbers in those council areas.
