Huge donation to our Coats for Kids campaign
Northsound's campaign to keep every child in the North East warm this winter has been given a massive boost. Aberdeen Asset Management's Charitable Foundation is giving our Coats for Kids appeal £30,000. As the weather turns cold and wet, Cash for Kids is trying to make sure every youngster in Aberdeen City and Shire has not only a coat - but gloves, a hat, a scarf and suitable shoes. More and more children need help - there's been a 22% rise in poverty in our area over the past year.
