Police in the north east have arrested two men, 22 and 24, following a number of housebreakings.

The incidents took place throughout Blairs, Banchory-Devenick, Findon and Portlethen.

Inspector Di Meola of Kincardine and Mearns Community Policing Team has said: “Housebreaking is a horrible crime and tackling it remains a priority for North East Division.

“I would ask members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to report any suspicious activity to us so appropriate action can be taken. Local officers will continue to carry patrols in the areas which have been affected.”
