Homeless charity struggling after oil price slump

Published 20th Apr 2015

An Aberdeen homeless charity says they can't cope with the increasing number of people coming to them for help. Scott Baxter from the Cyrenians says there's been a huge rise in demand since the price of oil fell.

They're getting twenty new people needing support every week. Funding's due to run out at the end of June, and an urgent appeal's going out for help.

The charity's previously had a lot of donations from oil and gas companies - but they've been cutting back because of the slump.
