Hit and run in Aberdeen knocks teenager off bike

A cyclist has been knocked off his bike by a car that then failed to stop on Wednesday 9 May 2018.

Shortly after 8am on Bressay Brae, a saloon or estate type car failed to stop after clipping a bicycle rider.

The cyclist was left shaken but uninjured afer the incident.

PC Ewan Gault said: 'We are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information to get in touch with us on 101 using reference number CF0108140518.

'The car involved is described as being black in colour and may have been a saloon or estate type car. We would also urge anyone who saw the car in the area around the time to contact us.'
