"I always really like it, its a good one. Its quite busy and there's a lot going on."
The event will take place from 10am to 5.30pm.
As well as the competitions and performances, there will be an array of free activities on offer such as a climbing wall, face-painting, and crazy golf.
The games will be officially opened by the Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron.
He said: “The Highland Games is a firm staple of summer events in the city and is an event that we look forward to every year.
“There are so many fantastic activities taking place throughout the day that all ages can enjoy and we hope that both regular and new attendees will again be out in force for what promises to be another fantastic day for Aberdeen.”
Michelle is looking forward to her performances, and is expecting a lot of support from the crowd.
She said: "Bearing good weather I think it will be a good atmosphere. The audience really participates in cheering on the other heavy events, athletes, runners, everything.
"The crowd really does come together for it and they're also supportive of the dancing as well."
