Guests Evacuated After Aberdeen Hotel Fire

Guests at an Aberdeen hotel had to be evacuated after a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning. Firefighters were called to the Thistle Aberdeen Hotel on Argyle Road in Dyce just after 3:30am. 9 firefighters tackled the blaze which appeared to be in the roof space. They eventually brought it under control, and guests were allowed back in at around 5am.

Thistle Aberdeen Hotel said "no significant damage" has been caused to the building. There have also been no reports of any injuries.
