Fresh hope for Aberdeen man living with brain injury - as family back health village plans
There's fresh hope that an Aberdeen man who was left with brain damage after a horrific attack can get the help he needs in the Granite City.
Jordan Jones, 28, has been receiving care in Glasgow since it happened.
Three people are in jail for the attempted murder two-years-ago.
Matthew Donaldson, Lee Hutchison and Ashley Duncan kicked, punched and stamped on Jordan Jones at a flat in the city last May.
Hutchison and Donaldson launched the attack on him after he had fallen asleep on a couch at a house in Auldearn Place in the city with Duncan joining in the attack.
Mr Jones' family have given their backing to plans for a new health and fitness village in Aberdeen, that they say will provide an alternative kind of rehabilitation and will allow Jordan to be treated at home.
The project is being led by local boxer Lee McAllister.
