Fraserburgh Receives £2m Funding Boost

Fraserburgh town centre is going to be getting a £2m funding boost.

It's one of three areas in Scotland to receive a share of the 5 and a half million pounds earmarked to help boost the country's towns.

The national lottery fund will be spent on doing up the old Town Hall, and the police station next door.

The projects will now progress to submit a detailed second-round submission to HLF to secure the full award.

Other places such as Paisley in Renfrewshire, and Glasgow's Govan will also benefit from millions of pounds, under the plans.
