Four people are to appear in court over drug busts in Aberdeenshire.

Three men, aged 35, 33 and 22, were arrested following the recovery of cannabis and cocaine worth more than £25,000 from an address in Inverurie last Friday.

A mid four-figure sum of money was also recovered

A woman, 31, has also been charged following a seperate seizure of Class C drugs worth around £2,600.

She was arrested in Huntly on the same day. Local Area Commander in Aberdeenshire South, Chief Inspector Murray Main said: "As we know, illegal drugs can have a devastating impact on individuals but also their families and wider communities through associated criminality and antisocial behaviour.

"Make no mistake, officers across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray will continue working closely with specialist officers, partners and communities themselves, to secure information and target those cruel individuals and groups who profit from the sale or distribution of illegal drugs."
