Bad weather has caused disruptions in a number of North East towns.

Firefighters have helped evacuate people from their homes on Soy Avenue in Portsoy after torrential rain there.

Elsewhere the flood opened up a huge pothole on the A90 near Stonehaven at rush hour - damaging a number of cars.

It's now been filled in.

And the storm also blew down a number of trees in Aberdeen, including on Ashgrove Road.

There's also going to be disruption to the trains all day between Aberdeen and Inverness
