The MET Office have issued a yellow weather warning for Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire with heavy rain and showers expected between 12pm and 11pm on Tuesday.

There's also a chance of flooding, which could devastate communities that are still cleaning up from flooding last week.

It's expected that the rain will get heavy throughout the afternoon and much of the evening.

The MET Office have warned that there may be some localised flooding, especially on low-lying roads.

The dugouts stood up to the floods in 2016

Chairman Syd Birnie says about a metre and a half of water was on top of the Ian Mair Park pitch

It's not only footballers who grace the pitch

Tens of thousands of pounds were spent on the fence just six years ago

The surrounding fields were also flooded

Only half of the goals are visible

Floods also made a mess of the outskirts of the pitch

A tough day for waste workers too

It's hoped that damage to fencing won't be as costly as it was in 2016
