SEPA have issued a 'flood warning' for Rosehearty to Fraseburgh.

A combination of adverse weather conditions and high tide means that flooding from the sea is expected. Flooding empacts are expected at high tide at around 4:30pm this afternoon.

Low lying land, roads and properties will be affected - and SEPA are warning residents to "remain vigilant".

A lesser 'flood alert' is in place for Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city.

It comes three weeks after communities such as Port Elphinstone, Ballater and Aboyne were devastated by the worst floods in living memory.
