First Aberdeen drivers threaten more industrial action over conditions row
The union claims a change to shifts would compromise safety with drivers doing longer hours
We're facing weeks more disruption on Aberdeen's buses.
First drivers in the city could walk out for most of April unless bosses shift on changes to conditions. A week long stoppage is already scheduled from Monday.
First Bus says changes to contracts are not an attack on drivers – and like many other firms in Aberdeen - they've been affected by the North Sea slump. Bosses also say they’re “extremely disappointed” by the industrial action.
They've been working to try and end strike action in the city, but the UNITE union says a new deal would mean drivers work longer hours for less money.
We've got a twitter poll on this - do you back the striking drivers?
