Firefighters free man from machinery at Aberdeen retail park

He was rushed to ARI after the incident on Garthdee Road this morning

A man has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after getting his hand caught in the lift of a lorry at a city electronics shop.

Firefighters were called to the car park of Currys PC World on Garthdee Road to free him just before 10:00am this morning.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics, before being taken to the city hospital for treatment.
