Fire at a student accommodation building in Aberdeen

Three fire engines were sent to an incident at ABeleven Student Accommodation on Wednesday afternoon after reports of a fire emerged.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.12pm on Wednesday 6 April to reports of a fire affecting a four-storey building in Willowbank Road, Aberdeen.

“Operations control immediately mobilised three fire engines and a height appliance to the location and firefighters are extinguishing the fire.

“Crews will remain at the scene until the area is made safe.”

There have been no reports of any injuries.
