Fears grow for missing woman
Police searching for Shona Johnstone have found her car at a North East beauty spot.
The police are trying to find 35 year old Shona Johnstone who has been reported missing from Stonehaven. Shona, who lives in the Mearns area, was last seen at about 1.00pm yesterday on Robert Street. She's around 5' 6" in height, with short brown hair and of slim build.
When last seen she was wearing blue jeans, ankle boots and possibly a blue zip up jacket. A black Nissan X-trail believed to have been used by Shona was later found parked at Dunnottar Castle in Stonehaven. Searches have been made in the coastline area around Dunnottar Castle by Police Scotland officers including members of the dog unit, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, local lifeboat crews and a search and rescue helicopter from RAF Lossiemouth. There is concern for Shona's welfare and anyone with information regarding Shona is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
