Fatal Aberdeenshire Crash Victim Named

Police Scotland have confirmed that the man who died following a one vehicle road traffic collision on the A950 south of New Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire on Saturday the 10th January was Lee McClure.

Police Scotland have named a man who died following a one car crash on the A950 on Saturday, as 23 year old Lee McClure from Portlethen.

The accident took plave south of New Pitsligo in Aberdeenshire.

Investigations into the collision are continuing and police ask that anyone with information or who may have seen Lee's vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Astra, prior to the collision contacts them.

Lee's family released a statement saying; "Lee was well loved by family and friends and we are devastated that he has been taken from us. Lee moved from Ayr to Portlethen for work and worked in Aberdeen as a hydraulic engineer. He was a keen and skilled footballer and enjoyed playing very much. We will miss him dearly."
