Family of Alan Cowie 'shocked and saddened' by his death
A 52-year-old woman has been charged in connection
The family of Alan Cowie has spoken after his sudden death earlier this week.
The 65-year-old was found dead at his home in Aberdeen's Alexander Terrace on Wednesday January 3, 2018.
In a statement, the family said: "As a family we have been left shocked and saddened by Alan's sudden death.
"We would ask for privacy at this difficult time as we try to come to terms with our loss."
A 52-year-old woman is to appear in court charged in connection with his death.
