An Aberdeen man who found himself in intensive care while cycling through America has given his first interview to Northsound News.

Alan Corsie was riding for charity when he was knocked down while standing at the side of the road.

He was left badly injured, with two broken ankles and a collapsed lung.

Alan spoke to our reporter Phil McDonald from his hospital bed in Tallahassee, Florida.

The father of three set off on 1st October 2017.

He aimed to cycle 3000 miles from San Diego, California to St Augustine in Florida.
