Emergency services called after child hit by a car in Aberdeen

UPDATE

Police say a child has been taken to the hospital as a precaution but not thought to be seriously hurt, and they've reopened the road.

Emergency Services attended the scene of an accident on Netherhills Avenue in Aberdeen where a child was hit by a car earlier today.

A police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a road crash involving a vehicle and a child on Netherhills Avenue, Aberdeen, around 3.20pm.

“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”
