Eclipse over Aberdeen

People across the North East have been watching the sky this morning for the first solar eclipse in 16 years.

This is the view from the Torry Battery, where hundreds gathered to watch the event.

Despite the cloud cover, it was still clearly visible.

The next eclipse over Scotland like won't be till 2093.
