Duthie Park scoops 10th consecutive Green Flag Award
It's the benchmark international standard for public greenspaces
Aberdeen's Duthie Park has won another Green Flag Award for 2022/23, its 10th in a row.
The green flag is the benchmark international standard for public greenspaces.
Duthie was just one of seven parks across Aberdeen that secured the award, with two more winning in Aberdeenshire.
Hazlehead Park, Seaton Park, Johnston Gardens, Victoria Park, Slopefield Allotments and Garthdee Field Allotments won in the city.
Haddo Country Park and Aden Country Park were the two Aberdeenshire parks to win the award.
In total, 85 parks and greenspaces were awarded a green flag this year across Scotland, a new record for the country, up eight from last year.

"Parks are in a great shape - they probably do need some more help with funding and things like that.
"They've achieved an international standard where they are, but there's plenty more places they can go.
"We've seen Green Flag Awards grow for 16 years in Scotland, so Duthie Park has come in 6 years into that.
"Continually meeting standards is not easy, it takes a lot of effort to get a Green Flag Award and to get that for 10 years running in something quite special.
"It shows that you've got active management - it's not just about keeping the park the same, it's about wanting to improve that space.
"So for 10 years, a site to continually achieve that an continually reach for something beyond that is incredible."
