A drugs boss who was the 1st man in the UK jailed under the slavery act over county lines operations is back behind bars for running dens in Aberdeen.

Londoner Dean Alford recruited, groomed and trafficked children to deliver drugs to dens in Portsmouth.

In 2016 he was jailed for 11 years after being convicted of dealing cocaine. But following his release on good behaviour, he came to the Granite City and restarted operations.

The now-31 year old was using flats in Granton Place and Esslemont Avenue which police raided in June last year and discovered cocaine and cash worth over £40,000.

Alford who admitted being concerned in the supply of the Class A drug, has been sentenced to 5 years and 219 days behind bars.

Co-accused Rory Morgan who's 32, has been given a sentence of 3 years and 4 months.
