Drivers are stuck in the snow as Storm Eunice batters the North East.

We've heard from a bus driver who'd been thanking staff at the Starbucks in Westhill - who'd been giving out hot drinks to his passengers who'd been stuck there for hours.

There are long delays on the AWPR as well where a number of vehicles have become stranded between Milltimber and Craibstone.

It's also bad on the A96 around Tyrebagger - which vehicles struggling to get up the hill there.

And the A947 is blocked both ways between Oldmeldrum and Whiterashes.

For anyone trying to head south - in Angus the A90 is closed southbound at Finavon because of a jacknifed lorry.

The advice is - don't travel unless you really have to.

Lots of schools haven't opened at all in Aberdeenshire - and plenty in Aberdeen have closed early, including Bridge of Don, Northfield, Bucksburn and Dyce Academies.

It comes as Storm Eunice brings winds of up to 122 miles an hour to the south of England.

Here's a flavour of what's been happening across the region....
