Dons Fans To Applaud In Memory Of Bailey Gwynne

Aberdeen fans are set to carry out a minute of applause in memory of 16-year-old Bailey Gwynne, who was allegedy murdered at an Aberdeen school last week.

Bailey was fatally injured last Wednesday lunctime. He was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in serious condition, but died shortly afterwards.

Fans will applaud during the 16th minute of game between Aberdeen and Dundee United on Saturday.

A minute’s silence will also be held before the game as part of remembrance commemorations at Pittodrie.

Another 16-year-old boy has been charged with Bailey's murder, and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later this week.

Hundreds of pupils and parents gathered for a candle-light vigil in a local parish church, last Thursday.
