Donald Trump plans Aberdeenshire expansion
Donald Trump's putting forward plans to expand his Aberdeenshire golf resort.
As well as a second course, he wants to build an extension on MacLeod House, with more rooms, a banqueting hall and a ballroom with enough room for 400 people.
He also wants to put up an accomodation building for staff.
Planning applications will go before Aberdeenshire Council this week.
The billionaire had previously shelved plans to build more at the Menie Estate because of a proposed offshore windfarm.
But he's fighting the plans in the courts, and he says he's more confident than ever they won't go ahead.
He says "I consider what I've achieved at Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire to be one of my greatest achievements. We have incredible plans to further develop the site, and along with my investment at Turnberry, my commitment to Scotland is stronger than ever."
