Donald Trump In Aberdeen For Opening Of New Clubhouse

Billionaire Donald Trump is in town to officially open a brand new clubhouse at his golf resort today.

He jetted into the Granite City last night for the event.

Local dignitaries and golf industry VIPs will attend the official opening day to see the clubhouse for themselves, before the doors are opened to the public for a special family-friendly weekend.

The granite clubhouse offers visitors panoramic views of the coastline, and the 18-hole championship golf course.

Trump International Golf Links, near Balmeadie, opened in July 2012.

It comes as Donald Trump lost a legal action against a major windfarm being built close to his golf resort in Aberdeenshire.

He tried to block the development, as he says it will ruin the view from his course.
