Jewellery worth more than £1000 has been stolen from a home in Aberdeen’s Cove Road.
The property was broken into between 11.20am and 2.40pm on Monday, 10 December.
A three figure sum of cash was stolen along with several items of jewellery including a 'Loquet' London locket, rose gold Michael Kors jewellery and Tissot and DKNY watches with a total value of a low four-figure sum of money.
Detective Constable Faye Stonehouse said: “This incident has happened during day light hours in a fairly busy residential area. I am keen to speak to anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious yesterday, Monday, 10 December, to get in touch on 101 using reference CF0304191218.
“A white Ford Transit style van was seen in the area at the time and the driver may have information that could be useful to us. I would also ask that anyone who saw this vehicle or recognises the description gets in touch.
“The owners are naturally upset by this incident and anyone with information is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
